Nitro PDF Pro now includes a new In-App Updater feature that notifies users when a newer version of Nitro PDF Pro is available. Users are now able to self-install the latest Nitro PDF Pro updates, ensuring they have immediate access to the latest product enhancements and security patches.
The In-App Updater is enabled by default in Nitro PDF Pro v14.24* and later. If you do not want users to self-install updates, or your deployment of Nitro PDF Pro requires custom settings, the In-App Updater can be easily disabled. For step-by-step instructions on how to disable the In-App Updater, please go to Section 6.1 of the Nitro PDF Pro Installation Guide.
*The In-App Updater is only available in the NLS and Business versions of Nitro PDF Pro. Not available in the Enterprise version.

OCR Language Packages
Nitro PDF Pro has multiple OCR language packs already built-in, including English, German, French, Spanish, Finnish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Brazilian, Norwegian, Portuguese and Swedish. Additional OCR language packs are available for download and can be installed along with Nitro PDF Pro.
Download additional OCR language packs to enable Nitro PDF Pro to recognize and extract text from scanned PDF documents in specific languages, enabling searchability, editing, and improved accuracy when working with scanned PDF documents written in those languages.
