Saving
Documents edited by Nitro PDF Pro are automatically saved. Nitro PDF Pro uses iCloud/iCloud Drive via Apple’s Files to sync changes. Nitro PDF Pro saves edited files to the last location you have specified. If you want to remove unwanted changes, tap Undo to remove your changes.
If you need to make changes to a document while preserving the original, please first duplicate the document in the Files/ Document View and edit your duplicate copy.
From Files/ Document view:
- Tap “Select” in the upper right.
- Tap to select the documents you want to Save.
- Select Share from the menu at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose Save to Files.
- Select a location for saving, then tap Save.
To cancel your action, either tap outside the Share dialog or tap Cancel.
Sharing
If you opened your document from Files/ Document view, changes would be saved back to that location. However, the Share process will specify if only a copy of the document is sent to the export destination. Original files edited by Nitro PDF Pro would be retained in the Nitro PDF Pro folder, resulting in two separate documents in separate locations.
You can email your document or export a copy of it into another app, using the Share menu.
Share options may include:
- AirDrop: Share with another Apple device in the same network
- Mail / Email: send a document via email
- Open in: Open documents in another app on your device (you may need to first enable that app with the available toggle in the “More” menu).
- Cloud service: Share with a 3rd party cloud service such as OneDrive, Drive, Dropbox etc.
NOTE: If you do not see your preferred option in the Share menu, select “More.”
