Changing Typeface or Text Size
- Select the specific text you want to format. Alternatively, use the Edit tool
- Locate the font and text formatting section of the Editing bar. If the Editing bar is not visible, go to View > Show Editing bar (Command+Shift+E).
- The font and text formatting section will reflect the current typeface, size, and style of the selected text.
- Select new properties for the selected text. Choose from a list of fonts and sizes. Click to add any font styling.
Alternatively, choose Format > Font > Show Fonts from the menu (Command+T). When the system Font panel appears, make the desired changes in the panel.

Changing Text Color
- Select the specific text you want to format.
- Locate the font and text formatting section of the Editing bar.
- The font and text formatting section will reflect the current color of the selected text.
- Click on the Text Color
Changing Text Justification
- Click on a text box to select it.
- Locate the font and text formatting section in the Editing bar.
- The font and text formatting section will reflect the current justification for the selected text. Choose the alignment: Align Left, Center, Justify, Align Right.
Alternatively, choose Format > Text and choose the alignment: Align Left, Center, Justify, Align Right.
Changing Line Spacing
- Choose Format > Font > Baseline.
- Select either Default, Raise, or Lower.
Changing the Spacing Between Characters
- Choose Format > Font > Kern.
- Select either Use Default, Use None, Tighten, or Loosen.
Tips:
Library: Frequently-used text, including formatting, can be saved to the Nitro PDF Pro Library for reuse.
Ruler: With a specific text box selected for editing, the ruler also provides controls for formatting text such as options to adjust style, alignment, spacing, and create numbered or bulleted lists.
