Leavitt Group impressed by Nitro's user-friendly interface and attentive team
Leavitt Group is a Utah-based insurance brokerage with a unique business model. The company owns a controlling share in each of the many different independent insurance agencies it partners with. While offering all these businesses a great deal of independence, it also has some standardized solutions that it uses across the Group.
One of these solutions is the organization’s PDF editing tool. So, when eleventh-hour contract renewal negotiations with their solution provider broke down in early 2023, it was critical for the Leavitt Group team to find an alternative solution—and fast.
Dan Dotson, Cloud Development Team Manager at Leavitt Group, explains: “We wanted to add a whiteout feature so colleagues could safely and securely redact confidential information. But our provider would only agree to let us have it if we upgraded to a much more expensive package, which included a whole host of features we didn’t want or need. When it became clear we had reached an impasse in negotiations, we decided to look elsewhere.”
With less than four weeks to go before their subscription expired, Leavitt Group went into overdrive testing offerings from alternative providers. Nitro was quickly identified as the optimum solution. “Nitro’s user interface is what really sets it apart,” says Dan Dotson. “You don’t have to spend any time figuring things out. It means our users can get quick and easy access to all the tools they need (including the whiteout feature)—and at a significantly lower price than our previous provider was offering.”
From the moment the contract was signed, Leavitt Group had just seven days to deploy their new software solution and get it to a steady state – a process that would usually take months. Nitro’s support was key to ensuring the lightening-quick deployment was a success.
Jared Larsen, Support Engineer, explains: “The team did everything they could to help us meet our tight deadlines, with our key contact putting in lots of extra hours to resolve any issues that came up and make sure we had all the training we needed. It was a pretty hectic time, but we did it!”
Since the successful deployment, Nitro has helped Leavitt Group expand their PDF editing solution further, by adding eSign functionality that is now being used across the organization.
